Students may come during lunch or a free period with a program.
The library is subject to close for classes and testing.
BHS library has approximately 18,000 books including reference books and a large assortment of fiction. To check out a book simply present an ID card. Up to five books can be borrowed for three weeks. Books may be renewed.
The library subscribes to over 60 magazines. Students may enjoy them in the library, but they do not circulate.
There are 33 flat-screen computers with Microsoft Office 2010. Students can do school work and print assignments. Bring a USB to save work. 2GB flash drives are available for $4.
The library subscribes to various databases that support the curriculum. Each has a specific focus such as social studies, science, and literature. Visit the Databases page to view them all.
We also subscribe to NoodleTools to assist with MLA citations (works cited).
The library has copies of most textbooks. These are to be used in the library only.
Students can access the library catalog from anyplace with an Internet connection through the Books at BHS link.
