Information can be published in many different forms such as on a CD-ROM or a diskette. When citing electronic information, the form or “medium” must be indicated. If you used a CD-ROM to find your information, replace the word “Medium” in the example below with “CD-ROM.” Do the same thing if you used a diskette, etc. The word “version” is sometimes used instead of “edition” for electronic sources. You may not find all of the following pieces of information for your citation, but you must do your best to include all you can.
