Journals
Journals are not the same as magazines. They usually appear only about four
times per year. They present scholarly articles and original research. Journals
are not meant for general readers, but for professionals and students. When
citing journal articles, the major differences are 1) the volume number, 2)
placing the year in parentheses, and 3) leaving the month and day out. Only
use the following format when citing scholarly journals.
